At Wauna Credit Union, People Helping People isn’t just something we say. We consider it a part of mission and purpose within this special community. We’re proud to invest in the people, programs, and places that can make our community a little stronger, piece by piece.
Through sponsorships and partnerships, we help create opportunities for financial wellness, local growth, and community connection.
Each sponsorship request is thoughtfully reviewed to ensure it aligns with our mission of building inclusive, equitable, and financially healthy communities. When there’s people helping people, we’ll all grow together.
What events and organizations does Wauna CU support with sponsorships?
Wauna Credit Union proudly supports a wide variety of events and organizations within our community. We will actively consider a sponsorship for a community event or organization if it falls under one of our Community Program Giving focus areas.
Currently our Community Giving Program focuses on three key areas:
- Economic advancement: Supporting food banks, school programs, and initiatives that serve those in need.
- Small business growth: Partnering with nonprofits and organizations that help entrepreneurs and local businesses thrive.
- Community empowerment: Funding programs that bring people together, including educational institutions, chambers, and city-based initiatives.

How do I receive a sponsorship from Wauna Credit Union?
First, make sure you read our Community Giving Guidelines and Areas of Focus information. It has answers to many questions regarding the sponsorship process through Wauna CU.
If you feel your event or organization qualifies for consideration, please fill out the Event/ Sponsorship Request at least 90 days in advance. Your business or organization will receive a decision letter within 60 business days.
