You have dreams of higher education, but we all know this can come with a cost. Wauna Credit Union is proud to support our members of all ages with several scholarship opportunities for higher education.

Each year, we award as many scholarships to our members as possible who live within our service area. Each scholarship offers one year of financial assistance and is awarded for post-high school education. Recipients may use funds for tuition, room, board, books, and fees.

Who can apply for a WCU scholarship?

Any member in good standing who is a graduating senior or has graduated from any high school may apply. You may also apply for a second, third, or fourth-year scholarship if you’re a previous scholarship recipient.

What is the scholarship selection criteria?

The WCU Scholarship Committee considers all applications, but we place an emphasis on applicants demonstrating community involvement and a thoughtful application. Applicants will need to show their eligibility by including a high school transcript, a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) report, two letters of reference, and completed application.

When do I apply for the WCU scholarship?

The application for 2026 is not yet open but typically the last day to accept applications is around April 15th, prior to the new school year.
