Wauna Credit Union: A Credit Union Built by Our Community, for Our Community

The Story

We officially chartered on March 16th,1967 as the  C.Z. Zellerbach Wauna Federal Credit Union. The financial cooperative was founded by employees of the then Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Wauna, Oregon.

Today, Wauna Credit Union has grown from its humble roots and now hosts seven operational branches. WCU holds charter in four counties, which are Columbia, Clatsop, and Western Washington County in Oregon, and Pacific County in Washington State.

Wauna Credit Union exists to provide opportunities for our members to build their financial well-building.

Our vision for the credit union is to be the financial institution that members choose first, use the most, and grow with throughout their lives.
