Mentorship Program

Wauna Federal Credit Union is pleased to work with local high schools in Columbia and Clatsop counties. Our mentorship program prepares students for the workforce which allows them to gain work experience and credits toward graduation.  Mentors at WFCU and the high school will assist the students in the process to ensure success.

Volunteering

Every year, dozens of WFCU members give their time to the credit union. They serve as directors of the board, committee members -- and much more. These people are not paid, they work for free. They care about the credit union and believe in it. Volunteers are a big reason why credit unions can offer so much for so little. In return, volunteers learn about leadership in a cooperative financial institution including, strategic planning, financial industry knowledge and business leadership.

WFCU depends on these volunteers and appreciates the variety of expertise they bring to our credit union. Some committees require less time and commitment and are imperative to the direction of our credit union.
